We teach the way students learn using Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and Differentiated Instruction. Instead of a “one-size-fits-all” model, our teachers adapt the curriculum to the student. By providing multiple ways to engage with material and demonstrate knowledge, we ensure every learner is met where they are and appropriately challenged.

We don’t just “have” IEPs; we use them as active blueprints for daily success. Here is how we integrate support into every lesson.

Living IEPs

Every teacher uses your child’s Individual Education Plan to guide daily instruction and assessment.

Built-in accommodations

Support (like extra time or quiet spaces) is a standard part of our classroom flow, not an “extra” a student has to request.

Embedded learning strategies

We teach “how to learn” alongside “what to learn,” weaving time management and organizational skills directly into the subject matter.

Ongoing advocacy

We work with students to help them understand their own learning profiles so they can advocate for their needs in the future.

Real-world co-op

Earn high school credits while gaining professional experience. Through our workplace placements, students build resumes and discover their passions in a supportive environment.

The city as a classroom

We use Toronto’s museums, galleries, and YMCA facilities as active laboratories. Lessons come to life when students engage directly with the world around them.
