Metro central YMCA
A membership to Metro Central YMCA is included in tuition. Metro Central YMCA is a fitness and recreation facility located at 20 Grosvenor St. a short walk from the school.
It houses:
- International squash courts
- 50 yard swimming pool
- Hydraulic wadding pool
- Both indoor and outdoor running tracks
- 4 Gynamsiums
- Weight room with free weights, universal machines, lifecycles and cardio equipment
- Fitness Studios
- Dance Studios
- Locker & Shower Areas
- Sauna & Steamroom
- Whirlpool
All amenities are accessible to students through the calendar year (including over holiday breaks in school).
Students are encouraged to participate in any extracurricular classes offered at Metro Central, including; personal training, aerobics, spinning, fitness, step and aquafit.
Students taking any of the Healthy Active Living courses in grade 9-12 will be using the facilites at Metro Central 3 times a week.
